TATTOO AS ART:
Kiryu Shinsuke is deeply rooted in the contemporary art of Japanese tattoo. As an ancient and old art, it has change into a new renascence of art, where deeper understanding of the energy of the word tattooed, here calligraphy is believed to be more than a written word! It produces energy and strengths to the owner of a tattoo are one the word. He brings back the renascence of the tattoo to a new level, and gives art a new dimension.

Modern art of caligraphy

The 30 years old artist, who is born in Kyoto, the old ancient imperial city of Japan. Has study fore many years the art of calligraphy in Nara and Tokyo. He likes to express himself in the spirit of Zen philosophy into a modern world. The traditional art of the believes of energy coming true the written word and the moment of expression done in the most concentrated and deep respect of the art itself.

KIRYU SHINSUKE 2008

Born in Kyoto in 1978, in the year of The Horse. At the age of 6 he was introduced to calligraphy. He followed his path and later went to Nara and Tokyo to continue his education. Buddhism philosophy became a support of the heart. Zen thoughts were important. He is very much a spiritualist person.
